LODGE-BASED FISHING TRIPS

From our main lodge and cabins, anglers can explore a completely roadless river valley that stretches for more than 20 miles. We use horses and mules to access these remote wilderness waters.

No horseback riding experience is necessary; our stock are gentle and well-trained, perfect for beginner riders.

No fly fishing experience is necessary. Our guides are excellent teachers. Whether you’re a beginner, or a gritty old angler, there is something for everyone to explore on these unpressured waters, teeming with wild trout.

WILDERNESS CAMP FISHING TRIPS

Our main lodge is remote. But guests who dream of an even more wild adventure, should consider an expedition to one of Budge’s pack-in wilderness camps.

Our most popular camps are those along isolated stretches of this roadless river valley, home to cutthroat, rainbow and brook trout. Other anglers may want to experience camp near a high alpine lake, fishing for cutthroat or even lake trout.

Anglers who visit one of our remote wilderness camps will enjoy staying in a spacious canvas wall tent. Your group will be the only one in camp (minimum two anglers) and you’ll have miles of remote water to explore.
